Graduate, Adam van den Brink awarded the Jack Waterfield Memorial Scholarship

Congratulations to Adam van den Brink on winning the $1000 Jack Waterfield Memorial Scholarship.  Adam was selected over 6 other applicants and was presented the award by members of the Waterfield family this past Monday evening.  Adam has played hockey with SEMI since 2004 in Hockey 1.  Throughout the years, he has played in both Rep and House streams, finishing off on the Midget C2 squad with Coach Ron Mullin.  Adam is pursuing his business degree at the University of Victoria and is interested in Economics and History.  He hopes to play intramural hockey with Vikes Athletics and wishes to help coach at the Vikes Kids Camps offered through the University.  Please join us in congratulating Adam and the rest of the scholarship award recipients!

The Jack Waterfield Memorial Scholarship started in 2016 and is awarded each year to a graduating player who demonstrates achievements in hockey, academics and in their community.  Jack was a long time volunteer with SEMI Hockey.
