    Congrats to the 10 Semiahmoo Bantam A1 players who made it through the first round of the BC U16 tryouts this past month to move on to play in the U16 BC Cup which was held in Kelowna April 13-15th. Semiahmoo Bantam A1 had the greatest # of players attending from any association in the lower mainland with 9 skaters and a goalie making it through to the U16 BC Cup. Attending were forwards Matt Bradley, Darien Craighead, Jake Fletcher, Mitch Newsome, Cole Plotnikoff, Tristan Simm, John Wesley; defenseman Kyle Dion, Calen Whitworth & goaltender Stefan Wornig.

March 2012 | A Notice from our President-- End of Season:


Semiahmoo Minor Hockey has ended for another season. Boy was that quick. As we reflect, we can certainly identify a number of significant accomplishments.

Congratulations to all players, family and teams. From H1 to Midget, nearly 1000 kids in our community were afforded the opportunity to play the great game of ice hockey, learn and develop their skills, meet new friends and hang out with old.  ...read more

March 2012 | A notice from our President regarding body checking:

As we advised our membership in January, PCAHA joined the majority of hockey Associations in removing body checking from all 'C' hockey, Atom through Midget.  The impact of this is significant as it does bring sweeping changes to how we as an Association will need to adapt to this new reality.  We do believe that body checking continues to have a place in 'A' hockey and as such continue to support our rep programs (Pee Wee through Midget) accordingly... read more

All certification numbers for parents that have completed the RIS - Parent program have been reported.  Reimbursements will be disbursed with final team cheques prior to seasons end.  Please check with your team manager for further details.
